Element 105 Workshop at Summer School: discussing physics on the Volga bank
From 6 July to 7 August, the 20th Summer School, an educational camp, is taking place in the Volga Recreation Centre of the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research.
More than 1,000 people have come to the Volga riverbank to take part in it.
Among 23 workshops of the School there is the Element 105 Workshop organized by employees of JINR.
Its participants will learn about the studies in the fields of nuclear physics and high energy physics.
Participants of the Workshop could “touch” big science. At the NICA site, they learned how the Booster Accelerator and the cryogenic complex operate.
The programme includes also lectures by Institute’s researchers and the JINR Basic Facilities Exhibition.
At the final seminar, students will present their scientific reports based on their work within the Workshop.
